TO-REACH at the 2017 EPH Conference: ‘Sustaining resilient and healthy communities’
15 November 2017
TO-REACH played a central role during the 10th EPH Conference: ‘Sustaining resilient and healthy communities’ organised by the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) on 1-4 November 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden.
TO-REACH was featured during both the pre-conference and the main conference programmes. On 1 November, consortium partners from the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS), the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, and Nivel set the scene, introducing some of the key objectives of the project during a pre-conference session titled: Fostering Health Services and Systems Research in future research programmes.
Inputs from TO-REACH were also featured during the plenary ‘Successful Health innovation: from the ‘what’ to the ‘how’, co-organised with the WHO Regional office for Europe and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. Prof. Walter Ricciardi, President of the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS), presented the project during his speech, highlighting the importance of innovation and their transferability.
Last but not least, TO-REACH organised a skill building seminar on ‘Future research priorities for more innovative and accessible health services and systems‘, featuring a presentation by Yann Bourgueil, IReSP/ITMO (France), on organisational innovations in France and their applicability for other countries.
